The Malibu Triathlon is comprised of three race distances over two days of events, taking place the weekend of September , at Zuma Beach. For the first time last year, event weekend debuted a sold-out long course distance event that proved to be wildly successful. The long course event will return in and the race is again expected to sell-out. Athletes interested in registering for the Olympic and Sprint distances races are encouraged to take advantage of special early entry pricing through Wednesday, March Malibu Tri weekend begins with packet pick up and fitness expo where all participants go to pick up their race number, t-shirt and drop their bike. The ultimate triathlon experience takes place at Zuma Beach on Friday, September 25 and will feature booths and exhibits from fitness retailers, and a full series of interactive clinics. Reservations are taken on a first come-first served basis. We will be renting road bikes. You will receive a request for payment once a bike has been assigned to you. Your reservation is not confirmed until payment is received. Email dorothy npbikeshop. Note: After successful submission of completed form, you will receive an email indicating what bike is assigned to you and further directions on how to confirm the reservation with payment. All rentals have to be paid in advance. You will be required to sign a waiver when you pick up your rental bike.
